Peter knows that his life will soon end, and so his letter includes some of THEE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS he wants his audience of Jewish believers scattered through the wilds of what we know today to be northern Turkey to remember. Among those things is the promise of a type of heavenly reward – “A Grand Entrance into the Eternal Kingdom” – that will await those who endeavor to live righteously. The Lord’s promise is still applicable to all believers today!
